E começar a questionar! Ela volta? A bíblia apóia o homossexualismo? A quem eu devo me confessar, quem pode me perdoar?

(I A Timóteo cap 2 ver 5 e 6)

E conhecereis a verdade, e a verdade vos libertara (João cap 8 ver 32) Se você tiver coragem de perguntar, a bíblia terá coragem de responder!

  3. This is not the way that we should preach the gospel. This is completely about fear based conversion, fire insurance if you will. God is the one who saves a person and regenerates them. We do not need to resort to scaring people into "conversion" This is absolutely counterproductive. Does this mean we do not teach about God's wrath honestly? No! But do we camp out on it and make people scared by the way we communicate? NO! That is wrong.

  4. To the last person who commented: Considering that this is exactly how the Bible preaches, I would not agree with your comment.
Matthew 13:49--50: "Sp it will be at the close of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

This is just one of the many verses that describe hell. If you say that that sermon jam was too harsh, why don't you take a look at what the Bible says. The things that were preached in this video, is exactly what the Bible preaches.
It is preaching the wrath of God honestly. It is truth.
Just look at the many places in Scripture where it speaks of hell and conversion and even compare it to what you have heard.
It's the same. It is truth.
There is nothing wrong or blasphemous in it.

  5. Just because the bible describes a literal hell, which I believe is accurate, does not make it right for us to use SCARE TACTICS, which is exactly what this is to preach the gospel. That verse is not an instance of Jesus preaching the gospel, but him speaking to his disciples.

There are ways to speak the truth without injecting fear and scare tactics into it. This is the WRONG way to preach the gospel and not how Jesus did it.

  6. This is not a "scare tactic". It's called a sermon jam.

It isn't the wrong way to preach the Gospel. Do you have any Scriptures to prove that it is the wrong way? Because I don't see anything in the Bible that preaches against it.

  7. And show me where Jesus preached to unbelievers starting at hell-fire and damnation.

It's not there. He spoke judgement against the Scribes and Pharisees but did not speak harshly with the unsaved "sheep".

I think we can go too far both ways, but this kind of video is obviously not the way Jesus preached the gospel, unless you plan showing it to the religious leaders of the day, like Jesus did.

  8. Just because you don't see Jesus preaching it right off the bat, doesn't mean it is the wrong way.
There are many things that were not recorded in Scriptures.

You haven't answered my question yet. I asked if you have any Scriptures to prove that this video is preaching the wrong way.

There is no wrong "tactic" to use in preaching the Gospel. The wrong way to preach the Gospel is to not speak the truth about hell and sin. That is the wrong way.
Look how God spoke through the prophets in the OT, they spoke to ALL the people, and they were very harsh.
Was that the wrong way to speak?
No, it wasn't. You can't just go out saying that there is a wrong or right way to preaching the Gospel.
The only wrong way would be to hold back the truth, to not mention sin or hell.

To say that this is wrong because it isn't the exact way that the Bible shows Jesus preaching is foolish. If we are going to say that, we might as well just say that we are caring for people the wrong way, because Jesus went around healing people, and if we aren't doing that, then there is something wrong.
There is no right or wrong way to present the Gospel, as long as it is preached in full.
